Kings & Co Launch Video Property Tour via Social Media

Social Media  gains traction in the Kings & Co Norwich Lettings Market.

It’s hard to believe that something as simple as the SMS text message service has evolved into such a complex constant contact medium for all kinds of things.  From the clunky mobile phone the size of a brick, we can now pick up and also send virtually anything electronic with the latest smartphones.  It’s this portability that really takes Social connections on the internet to a new level.  On demand is a normal now, whereas before it was considered a luxury that came with a pricetag.

In terms of the property letting market, Kings & Co like the rest of the world has followed the trend toward more online social connectivity.  In the past to search for a property you would wait to get home and look on the internet or perhaps wait for the weekly property section in the newspaper.  Today you can literally browse available property at any given time on your mobile.  Kings & Co offers  property to let in the Norwich area via Facebook, Twitter and more to the local consumer, who can then check out suitable properties at any time with minimal effort.

The trend toward social media is about you, and choosing the data inputs, “streams” or “follows” that are right for the individual.  This means that what is offered to the consumer must be both worthwhile and professional.  For several months Kings & Co has been updating a “property wall” via social media, giving a description of the property to let and a single photo.  As of last week Kings & Co introduced an improvement by including a video slide show tour of each property.  This enables the consumer to get a better idea of what the property is like without having to make multiple clicks around the internet.  It’s also important for landlords to see that  property management in Norwich  is also moving with the times and that every aspect in getting best efficiency and return on their investments is being utilised.

Overall as the social media continues to grow globally, Kings & Co as an evolving letting agent in Norwich, is committed to focusing and developing these new mediums to improve customer experience locally.

Kings & Co Lettings simplify entry into the property investment market

Kings & Co Lettings have made a focused comittment to support new investors considering the residential property market. Offering a focus on simple, jargon free and transparent explanation of the dos and don’ts in letting your first property.
For those considering investing in the Norwich property market for the first time, there are often more variables then anticipated to consider than on first assumption and the order of events and fact finding can often be vital to making the process succesful.
The decision to invest money into property in the first place is one which should be thought about carefully and professional advice is freely available for all aspects from financial planning through to mortgage advice. (Kings & Co does not provide financial advice).
However running alongside that decision making process should also be an element of fact finding outside of the process of loan approval and property searching….
Many would be surprised to hear that often a new would-be landlord arranges a mortgage, incurrs fiscal comittment and in some cases even buys a property without having calculated or saught out whether the rental return from the property / properties will cover the costs.  Achievable rental can vary greatly based upon type of property and the area it’s in, often a degree of supply and demand can influence.
Often new landlords don’t appreciate the full costs involved in renting a property out.  Some costs are directly associated with the property such as maintenance and ground rent fees on leasehold or apartments.  Other costs are related to the legislation required to let a property legally, such as insurances, deposit protection schemes and safety certifications.
In order to fully understand a potential return in a property investment it’s vital to understand market rental return and the full suite of costs upfront before making any purchase.  Usually property investment is a long term comittment so the right due diligence needs to be in place beforehand.

Kings & Co specialises in making life simple for new property investors in Norwich and helping them make profitable decisions whilst covering all the necessary aspects of residential letting in Norwich.

Kings & Co Norwich staff member gains lettings qualification

Sally White, a Norwich based lettings agent with Kings & Co Lettings has successfully passed an NFoPP Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management.  This well–respected Award is not only a nationally-recognised industry qualification but is also an entry requirement of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) – the only professional, self regulating body specialising in raising and maintaining practice standards in the UK private rental sector.

Sally White, who started her career as a Junior Lettings Administrator in 1996, has been working in the industry for over 15years, having taken time out to start a family

Sally White of Kings & Co Lettings said “I decided to start studying toward this qualification as a result of taking over the ownership of Kings & Co Letting in May 2011.  I am thrilled the hard work has paid off and I have secured the Technical Award.  For me, it is not only a personal achievement but evidence of our professionalism as an agency, showing our clients that they are dealing with someone who is knowledgeable and who they can trust to do a good job.

Sally White is amongst the steadily growing number of agents across the UK who are working with ARLA and the NfoPP to become qualified and raise standards within their field.

Elizabeth Richards, Head of Legal and Policy at the National Federation of Property Professional states:-
“I heartily congratulate Sally White on her achievement and hope to welcome her to full ARLA membership in the near future.  I an industry where standards can vary greatly between member and non-member agents and agencies, obtaining this Award represents not only Sally White’s dedication to developing as an agent but also her commitment to working to the high industry standards which ARLA seeks to promote.  You can find evidence of Kings & Co standards on their Nowich lettings testimonial page
